Vincent Everts Review of Blockchain Innovation Conference 2018 and Money20/20 Amsterdam | Newsletter June 8
“It’s the day after the Blockchain Innovation Conference (BIC18) and it was totally packed! You can watch back the full BIC18 stream powered by KPMG.
Next week we will dive deeper into each and every BIC18 speaker, presentation and interview!
I was at Money 20/20 Europe, world’s largest Fintech show that took place in Amsterdam RAI this year. PSD2 (a law that obligates banks to share your data with third parties to develop applications; not yet applied in NL) and Open Banking were the hot topics.
Interviews about PSD2 being successfully applied in the UK, Peaks App that invests your change, the Fintech vision for 2021 of the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), background of 2 innovative new products by Rabobank (We.Trade and SurePay) and the CEO of Revolut, a digital bank with 2 million users, who thinks almost all 18.000 banks will fade away.”
